To commemorate the 10 Year Anniversary of Orange Shirt Day we created a limited-edition Signature Spirit Wrap. This elevated Spirit Wrap represents being seen, heard, and remembered. Chloё Angus Design works in collaboration with Phyllis Webstad and the Orange Shirt Society to project their message of ‘EVERY CHILD MATTERS’.

Fostering Connection Through Collaboration
Taking time to work directly with Phyllis and her team, we created this meaningful Signature Spirit Wrap that unifies us in helping the Orange Shirt Society carry forward the message Every Child Matters. Including Orange Shirt Society in the design process was important to our ethos of collaboration and connects us to the important work they do.
About The Artwork
Chloë Angus co-collaborated with Coast Salish artist Gerry Sheena, to create the 10 Year Anniversary “Every Child Matters – Eternal Connection” design.

Salmon is a symbol of journey, strength, and endurance. Qualities we all possess. Eagle is elegance, pride, wonder, and truth. A messenger, it takes our prayers and delivers them to the heavens. Together they have an “Eternal Connection.”
This message resonates with our eternal connection to our ancestors, our families, and our children past and present. Together with the Orange Shirt Society message “Every Child Matters” and the iconic Orange colour satin of Phylis’ original orange shirt given to her by her grandmother, this design represents deep connection to the cause and celebrates all that Phyllis and the Orange Shirt Society has accomplished.

The Orange Shirt Society
The Orange Shirt Society is a non-profit organization with its home in Williams Lake, BC where Orange Shirt Day began in 2013. The Orange Shirt Society was founded by Phyllis (Jack) Webstad and others. They proudly have both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Staff and Board Members.
The purposes of the Orange Shirt Society are as follows: To support Indian Residential School Reconciliation, to create awareness of the individual, family and community inter-generational impacts of Indian Residential Schools through Orange Shirt Society activities to create awareness of the concept of "Every Child Matters"
In 2023, the Orange Shirt Society celebrates ten years of education and awareness
